Reichstag dome Berlin

The Reichstag new dome or cupola, designed by architect Norman Foster, is a glasdome, constructed on top of the rebuilt Reichstag building in Berlin. It was built to symbolize the reunification of Germany. The cupola is designed to reflect natural light into the plenary chamber. It provides natural ventilation and light with a mirror system, which directs light inside the chamber during the day and reflects it back at night.
